We are now open 7 days per week, but despite the lifting of

government restrictions have made some changes to help us

keep our staff and customers safe. Please see below for more

details.

We are also offering a local delivery service for those who

would rather not visit in person….

Covid-19

Our current opening hours are …. Mondays 9.30 - 5.30 Tuesdays 9.30 - 5.30 Wednesdays 9.30 - 5.30 Thursdays 9.30 - 5.30 Fridays 9.30 - 5.30 Saturdays 9.30 - 5.30 Sundays & Bank Holidays 10.30 - 4.30 What to expect when you visit? We have closed the entrance from the garden centre, the only access now is at the side of the greenhouse, immediately on your left as you pull in to the car park from the main road. Our tropical section Please do not visit if you are suffering from any of the symptoms of coronavirus. We politely request that you continue to wear a face covering whilst in the store. The layout of the aquariums is such that we are continuing to limit the number of people allowed access to view the fish at any time. Unfortunately, at busy times, this can result in quite long waits, so, if at all possible, please visit on your own and try to avoid busier times. Weekends can be very hectic, so if at all possible, visit during the week when you’re far less likely to find a long queue. In other areas of the store, please be considerate to our staff and other shoppers and make use of the hand sanitiser provided. Please avoid handling items unnecessarily. Our pond section We have recently moved out of our old pond section building and have reorganised things for 2022. We still have a comprehensive range of pond products available, please ask if you can’t find what you’re looking for as we almost certainly have it available. In general We politely request that you continue wearing masks when visiting us, this is to ensure the safety of our staff, other customers, and their families. We also ask that you continue to use the hand sanitiser provided when entering and whilst on our premises. Please be considerate to other shoppers and to our staff at all times. We appreciate that some of the changes we have had to make can be frustrating, and that at busy times you may have to wait a little longer than usual. But by keeping safe, it ensures we are able to stay open & be here for all your aquatic needs. Thank you for your cooperation. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience. Local Delivery Service. We are continuing to operate our local delivery service. What can I order? We can deliver anything from our full range of products, including plants and fish, provided it can be safely lifted by one person. When? Deliveries are usually made on Thursdays. Where? We can deliver anywhere within 25 miles of the store. How much will it cost? Delivery will be free of charge on all orders over £35 value, for smaller orders there will be a £3 delivery charge. How do I place an order? Please ring during our normal opening hours any day of the week. Alternatively, send an email to info@the-aquatic-habitat.co.uk detailing what your requirements are. Please include a contact telephone number so that we can call you to confirm prices and delivery. Card payment will be taken over the phone when the order is confirmed. What do you have in stock? Although our supply chains have been disrupted by the epidemic, we still have good stocks of most things.
